Day two of VBS is in the books for little Addison Rose. She has had so much fun these past two days. She is in her "class" with some new friends she's made over the past few months (even little cousin Logan). This is what goes on during the first part of her day.

After a morning of fun and learning about Jesus, Addie comes home for some much needed r&r. When I got home from work today, I got to get in the pool with Addie. She is growing up way too fast. She is already holding and eating pop sickles!!! I know, she thinks she is big stuff. Especially when she sees her cousin McKenzie doing it. Needless to say, we are left with a little clean-up when she is done. Fortunately the yellow stain on her skin came off pretty easily. Not a bad way to end a busy day.

After the pop sickle, and visiting the ducks at the pond, Addie and I made our way home to get a bath. She was playing in her car seat up until we were parking the car. I went to get her out and take her inside, and she was sound asleep. She didn't budge at all when I got her out of the car seat. We proceeded to get ready to take a bath, and I was sure that the sound of the water would wake her up. Wrong!!! Still no signs of waking up. I knew Mom would not be happy if I just put her in bed (and she really needed to get a bath anyway) so I put her in the tub and gave this child a bath as she slept peacefully among the soap and cascading water. It was pretty cute. I wouldn't trade any of it.
