On Thursday, we were able to spend some time visiting with Matt's dad and grandparents on the Sawyer side.

Trip to Chicago

On Wednesday, Matt had planned on surprising me with a trip to Chicago. Afraid of how I would react when I found out I would be leaving Addison, he decided to tell me earlier. Addison got to spend the day with her Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Austin and Aunt Bailey while we spent the day with our friends Misty and Andy Appleby. We had a blast and I hear Addison did great too!

Church Services

Many of you know that Matt was given the opportunity to preach Sunday night at First Baptist Atwood. This was actually Matt's first time preaching on a Sunday service, and it was really cool that he got the opportunity to do it at his home church. Thanks to all who were praying for him. God really used him.

Addison and Aunt Bailey enjoyed the swings Sunday night after church. The weather has been AMAZING!!!

**Today Matt and I are spending the afternoon hanging out with Austin. Grandma and Aunt Bailey are going to watch Addison for us. We are also still looking forward to spending the day with Aunt Heather and Uncle Joe on Tuesday. Then, Matt and I are off to Chicago on Wednesday with friends while Grandma enjoys another day with Addison. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Visiting with Grandma and Grandpa in Illinois

We were so excited for Addison to get to spend some time with her Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Bailey and Uncle Austin. Grandma had all the toys and fun ready for her right when she got here. Uncle Austin and Aunt Bailey have been lots of fun too! We can't wait for the excitement the week holds for us. This afternoon Addison will also be meeting lots of other family(including Aunt Heather and Uncle Joe) at a get together at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

**She did great at the family get together this evening. As long as mom and dad were no where in sight, she did great!!

We Made It!!

Yesterday we flew out for Illinois to visit Matt's family. This was an exciting trip for us, visiting family and friends as well as Addison's first plane ride. She did awesome!! No need for me to even have worried a bit. The security people were so nice and the stewardest on the planes were great too! Addison loved watching(more like staring down) all the people around her on the plane. She also loved looking out the window. Puffs also proved to have been a great snack for the ride as well. This was only about the 3rd day she had ate them. She even learned how to pick them out of our hands and put them in her mouth.

Mason Has Arrived

Yesterday, Matt's and my 3rd nephew was born weighing in at 8lbs. 14oz. and 20.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing great! Big sister (McKenzie) is also loving it. I think she is going to be a great help to her mom and dad. Here are a few pictures of the cutie!
