I Like to Move It, Move It!

Kenzie has been telling me since I was pregnant with Addison that she was going to teach her how to dance when she "got big." I am a little scared of what this could mean. Check out this girl's dance skills. Hilarious!!!

Cereal Time!

Friday night was Addison's first time eating cereal. Matt and I both were really excited about getting to feed her for the first time. This was also her first time ever tasting formula(in her cereal). She did really well with both. She actually acted like we were going a little to slow for her at one point. McKenzie was here with us to take part in all the fun. Her dad's birthday was today, so she was spending some time with us so that they could get away. The video is a little long, but I couldn't resist with the narration that goes along with it. Keep in mind that Kenzie is not on the real phone, but pretending to be talking to someone on the phone.

Giggle Box

Last night I heard this noise coming from Addison's room and ran to get my camera so I could record it. Her daddy was supposed to be changing her into jammers, but as you can see, I think they were doing more playing than anything. Of course, she wouldn't do it when I tried to get her to laugh.

This was the first time she has giggled like this. The last time she did this was at the beginning of the month when she giggled a couple of times and boy did it just melt our hearts. Can't wait to hear more of this new noise!!!

The Many Sounds of Addie

Addison has started making a lot of different sounds lately. She also tries to copy the sounds that you make. This morning she decided she would start at 5am making the noises. She better just be glad she is so cute:)

4 Month Checkup

Matt and I took Addison for her 4 month checkup today. This was the first time Matt got to see her get her shots, but they both did great! She is a 12lbs 11oz 24in healthy baby. She showed off for everyone around her at the doctor's office, carrying on as loud as she could. Matt is always telling me I am loud, so I guess she got that from her mommy.

The doctor also told us we could start feeding her cereal. Can't wait to see how she does. If it is anything like she takes medicine, it will end up more out of her mouth than in. Pictures to come of this new experience for sure.

She just feel asleep playing on the floor next to me with her thumb in her mouth. This is happening more and more lately. She pulls her paci out and sticks her thumb in when she is trying to go to sleep. I guess our measures to prevent this were not enough. Looks like we have a thumb sucker on our hands.

Roll over, Roll over

Addison rolled over for the first time on Saturday (okay, so maybe her hands were still under her, but she did make it to her tummy). Tonight, however, was the big night! Her dad put her down on the floor and went to watch tv for a second and when he looked back she was completely on her stomach, arms to her side and everything. Of course, we didn't get a picture or video of this. Since then, she has been rolling over constantly. She is growing up sooo fast!

Finally starting the blog!

I have wanted to start blogging for a while now for Addison but just haven't gotten anything done. Matt was talking to his mom tonight about Addison rolling over for the first time and I realized that time is passing by way to quickly so I better get started. I hope this helps keep our families and friends updated on everything that is happening in our lives. So, here it goes...
