9 Month Checkup

This past month has been crazy busy! I got a job in Vernon, a town about 20 or so minutes away from us, teaching 3rd grade. So far it has been great. Matt is now back in school taking two classes. An English class online and a theology class at BCF. Hopefully he will be completely done this year!

On the third day of school, Addison had her 9 month checkup, so Matt took her to see the doctor by himself. He is such a great dad! Our girl is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She is now 16lbs. 12oz. and 26 and 3/4 inches long. Let's see, in the past month she has been crawling and getting into EVERYTHING(her dad is getting her right now for trying to pull the cords as I type), eats EVERYTHING off the floor she can find, things we never even see. She has taken her first steps to her daddy, and has had her second tooth come in. She LOVES the show Yo Gabba Gabba on Noggin, which I cannot figure out why. She stops everything she is doing when it comes on and will watch the whole 30 minute episode. She is also doing a great job using her sippy cup now. The GREATEST news yet is that she now is officially sleeping ALL NIGHT on HER OWN in her OWN BED!!!!! I cannot tell you how much of an accomplishment this is. She is doing great!!

Visit with Special Friends

We were very surprised and excited when we found out the Zarahn's were going to get to come to the states for a visit. This family has become very special to us over the years. We used to hang out all the time and always had a blast.
The Zarahn's have been called to be missionaries now and are serving in South America for 3 years. They left right before Addison was born, so they weren't able to be there with us for this special event in our lives. However, we have been able to stay in touch through Skype. This is how we introduced them to Addison for the first time. So when we found out that they were going to get to see her in person, we were thrilled. She bonded right away with Dori, which didn't suprise us a bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together although it was very short.

We love you guys very much and hopefully we will see you soon!

**Please continue to pray for Robert, Dori, and Malachi Zarahn as they continue this mission God has called them to.

Baby Dedication Sunday

This Sunday, Matt and I along with my two sisters and their families dedicated our little ones at church. As individual families, we made a commitment in front of our church family, at First Baptist Church of Chipley, to the Christian nurture of our children. Afterward, my mom made a delicious meal that we all enjoyed. What a very special day to be able to share together.

This picture is not great, but the only one taken of our family that day.

Sorry Jeni, you had your eyes closed in every one.
