Train Ride and More Christmas Lights

On Tuesday, my family got together and went to see Christmas lights on a train ride in Bristol. Although the lights weren't the greatest, the kids had a great time on the train, and I really enjoyed spending the night with family!!

Christmas in Georgia

We celebrated Christmas a little early at the Sawyer house this year. Addison and I are leaving for Florida on Friday, so we decided instead of hauling all the presents with us, we would just open them before we left. Of course, she is too little to understand that Santa is supposed to come on a particular day, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

She was so excited when she got out of the bathtub to find presents under the tree from Santa, Grandma and Grandpa and Great Grandma and Grandpa.

She is really into arts and crafts this year, so I was really excited to make this purchase for her 3rd Christmas. She really likes the magnetic side.

"I wonder what's in here?"

Oobie eyes!!

Christmas 2010...and yes, she is spoiled.

Enjoying one of her new toys.

Our First Snow in Georgia

Today we experienced our first snow in Georgia. It snowed pretty much all day, and this Florida girl enjoyed every minute of it:) On Monday, Michelle took us further north to see a little more snow. Addison and I had a blast, but of course we were too cold to last too long. I can't wait to see more of this white stuff!!!

Snow from our balcony at the apartment.

Visiting the Walmart parking lot further north for some thicker snow.

She didn't really know what to think when she fell in it.
Can't wait to build a snowman with her!

After church on Sunday.

Visit from Uncle Colby, Christmas Parade, Lights, and a Gingerbread House

This weekend was busy but lots of fun. Uncle Colby came down on Friday and stayed with us for the weekend. We were SO excited to have him visit. While he was here, we were able to enjoy the Christmas parade down town, look at Christmas lights, and make a gingerbread house.

Listening to the the book Grandma recorded with Uncle Colby

Of course, we had to go eat Mexican while Colby was here. We miss eating on Sunday evenings with him at Cancuns.

"Do it again," she kept telling him.
She loves him!
Waiting on the parade to start.

Getting warmed up with momma.

Making her first gingerbread house with daddy.
Decorating the scenery
Finished product. She really enjoyed testing the candy out.

This was the perfect way to see lights with a little one. This house had it's own radio station to tune in to. It was a 20 minute show and Addison loved it. They also brought around candy canes to the car while we were there. The video isn't the clearest, but you can at least get an idea of what it was like.

They have a hologram of Santa in the window which was really cool. Addison liked it too as you can see... or hear at least.

Can you guess what song she is singing?

All smiles:) Getting ready to go eat lunch with daddy.

Yes, it's Barney's "I Love You!" We were putting Barney stickers on a sheet, and she started singing it.
